It is very important that parents and their children feel happy and relaxed at their first visit to the nursery, management and senior staff are there to discuss individual requirements and to offer support and advice regarding all aspects of the nursery environment. A key worker will be allocated to your child on arrival. The key worker will be responsible for your child’s needs, and will communicate with you on a daily basis.
The nursery advises that your child has two hour settling in sessions to enable them to have a smooth transition into nursery life. The number of two-hour sessions depends entirely on the child’s individual needs.
Bizzi-Day cares for children with special needs with the help of relevant co-coordinators and agency workers. We have wheel chair access, a lift and two disabled toilets. A full Special Needs Policy is available on request.
On booking your child into nursery you will be asked to complete registration & collection forms, permission slips, and a terms and conditions contract.
Parents will be informed of nursery policies and procedures, these are available to view on request.
There is a registration fee of £50, which is refundable when your child leaves the nursery, assuming all outstanding fees have been paid.

Children will be involved in messy activities therefore we recommend that you dress your child in suitable clothing.
We ask that you please provide your child with a bag containing a change of clothing, a coat, and Wellington boots for the winter and sun hat and sun cream during the summer.
The Nursery has a no shoes policy and therefore we ask that you please provide your child with a pair of slippers.
Bizzi Day Nursery promotes breast-feeding, and are happy to accept expressed milk. Expressed milk will be kept in the milk fridge Also we will provide a private area for mums to feed their babies.
The nursery provides Huggies and pampers and wetwipes. Nappy cream however must be provided by parents/guardians.
Children have their nappies changed every 2-2.5 hours.

9:30 – 10:00
11:45 – 12:15
2:30 – 2:45
Appropriate equipment is provided for children to sleep rest or have quiet times.
The nursery follows your child’s sleeping routine. Children can sleep in a cot, or on a sleep mat, or in a pushchair.
Children are monitored every 10 minutes whilst they are sleeping, and there is a baby monitor in the sleep room.
